Mary Garrison, BS

Mary is a current veterinary student interested in small animal medicine, specifically shelter medicine. She joined the Shapiro lab as a STAR student in June 2022 to work on her project focusing on detectingTritrichomonas infections in shelter-derived cats via molecular testing and the prevalence of these infections in the surrounding area. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Davis with friends, cooking, reading, playing video games, and spending time with her two cats, Honeybee and Maple.
