I am an undergraduate student at UC Davis majoring in Global Disease Biology and I joined the Shapiro Lab in January of 2018. I am lucky to participate in a project that involves the validation of a PCR method to evaluate its use for monitoring protozoan pathogen contamination in coastal waters.
