Chloe Resngit, BS, MS

Chloe joined the lab in June 2021 while working towards her Bachelor of Science in Global Disease Biology with a minor in Music which she earned in June 2023. She has since obtained her Master of Science in Medical Health Sciences from Touro University California. In her time with the Shapiro Lab she has worked on the USDA project exploring shellfish-borne protozoan pathogens and also the OPC project investigating the relationship between microplastics and pathogens. Recently she has also gained experience in parasitology diagnostics under Dr. Camp’s direction. Her overall interest is in the association of zoonotic diseases in human health with a One Health perspective. In her free time she enjoys playing badminton and practicing music.
