Anika Patel, BS

Anika is an undergraduate researcher majoring in Global Disease Biology. She joined the Shapiro Lab in June 2021 and is working on research projects focused on the ecology and epidemiology of Toxoplasma gondii oocyst shedding in free-ranging cats. When she is not in the lab, Anika is hanging out with family and friends, keeping up with the sports world, and making trips to the bay area to try new cuisines.
